LinkedIn is a social network built around shared professional resumes.

LinkedIn offers the ability to connect with a colleague of a colleague and is very popular with both job hunters and those seeking other forms of business networking. Recently the added groups and ability to display RSS feeds. As of 3/2010:
  • LinkedIn has over 60 million members in over 200 countries and territories around the world.
  • A new member joins LinkedIn approximately every second, and about half of our members are outside the U.S.
  • Executives from all Fortune 500 companies are LinkedIn members.

  • New Canaan Career Transition Support (“CaTS”) consists of volunteers from two New Canaan, Connecticut churches-- First Presbyterian and St. Mark’s Episcopal-- who provide free, positive and informative assistance to those in job transition. 221 members.
  • Diocese of Atlanta: Participants are encouraged to initiate dialogue with each other to foster relationships and identify the individual needs, goals and aspirations of our members. Become acquainted, help each other with career contacts, share events around the diocese, and discuss spiritual matters. If you have a job to offer, please search this group for qualified candidates. If you need a Realtor, contractor, insurance, or other service, please look through our members first. If you're interested in working for a company, search the group to find an Episcopalian already there.
